*Students from outside the NAD who are attending school in the NAD can apply if they have a green card. Student visa holders are not eligible.

“My mom and I sat down and prayed…if God wanted me to go to Union and God wanted me to be a theology major, that He would provide a way and…[it was] 24 hours later that He did… I think God always provides a way…[S]ometimes it can seem a little hopeless, but He’s got you, He’s got me, and I appreciate the way He is using people to help.”

—Sofia Jaquez, junior theology student at Union Adventist University. Right now, Sofia is a student missionary.

“The scholarship means a lot because it takes the stress off, having to think of financial stuff, so now I can focus on just fully studying and trying to finish off strong, so I really appreciate the scholarship!”

“Thank you guys so much for being a recipient! I am very thankful because it’s just a reminder of God is caring for His children.

—Sisters Gabby & Natasha Gibson; both are now nurses.

“At the starting point God told us, ‘Alright, I want you guys to be missionaries…, so you need to start studying.’ …He told us to come to Andrews, but we did not have any idea of how to get the funds or any support… [The Scholarship] is another way He has shown us that He says, ‘I am here with you, I am walking with you, because I called you to serve Me, and I am not going to leave you alone.”

—Monica Torrealba, nursing student, Andrews University

The 2024 women’s devotional book, He Knows Thy Name, is now available! A portion of the proceeds fund the NAD Women’s Ministries scholarships.

Book details:
The greatest longing within us is to know we are seen and known and loved. Seen among the myriad millions. Seen beneath the layers and labels. Known by name. Known by heart. Loved just as we are. Loved because we are. Seen, known, and loved by the One who formed and shaped us in our mother’s womb—by the One who calls us by our name. The deepest longing within His heart is for us to seek, follow, and obey. Seek Him first. Seek Him foremost. Follow Him and know the sound of His voice. Follow Him moment by moment. Obey with joy and gladness. Obey with an even deeper trust. Within these pages, you will find a quiet place to come aside and worship. And in the stillness, listen for Him to whisper your name. You are seen, known, and loved—by Him!
